Hi there,
Can someone tell me about the name Eliud. It is a person living in Kenya - is it a name for a man or a woman?

Yes, I did Google it and I too am very certain that it is a male name :-) Thank you very much for your help. The first time I Googled it I did however find a page that said it was a female name, that's why I asked for help.

In both Kenya and Tanzania, I have come across the name. I have never seen it used in connection with a female. If you Google "Eliud", you will find a lot of relevant information.
