Hi,
Don't know where else to pose this question.
For a few days I am now visiting Europe and have access to a high quality broadband connection.
Soon I'll enjoy being home in Kenya and will only be able to approach the site from a cyber.
It would be very convenient to be able to download all threads for a certain period of time. Let's say last week or last month or something like that.
Then peacefully, at home, with dictionaries etc at hand, reading and maybe writing.
As last step to return to the cyber and post the reactions or questions. (Copy & Paste)
I have not found this option.
1. Is it already available?
2. Can it be made available?
If required I'd be happy to join your technical team and design it. I've worked in IT and webdesign for several years. Mostly php and html but also some perl. Mainly in Unix/Linux environment.
Greetings, Salama, Hälsningar, Groeten etc.

RE: Off line participation
We don't have such a feature at the moment. Right now we are working on a major overhaul of the discussion forum (we're going to switch to a completely different platform), after which we can talk about how to implement the feature you are proposing. In the meantime, the only way to save discussion pages or threads would, I think, be to open the ones you are interested in and either save the web page to your disk or copy and paste to a Word or text file.
Thanks for the suggestion. If you don't hear from me after the platform switch, remind me and we'll work with you toward implementation.
Cheers,
Martin
